Pillar 2 · Chapter
What Only You Can Do
The parts of your work AI cannot carry, why your judgment is worth more now, and how to stand out as AI levels the field.
How do I stand out when AI seems to know everything I know?
AI knows your field's published consensus, not your cases, your contrarian calls, or your judgment. Standing out now means publishing exactly that layer, in public, under your name.
What can I offer clients that AI can't?
Less than you hope, and that's the wrong worry: your knowledge has been commoditized, and hunting for an AI-proof offer is a shrinking island. Bring AI into your delivery for better client results, and concentrate on what stayed sacred: relationships, connection, and a name on the outcome.
Should I lower my prices now that AI can do some of what I do?
No. Reprice the structure, not the level: unbundle what went free from what got scarcer, and let the judgment layer carry the fee it always secretly earned. Across-the-board discounting answers the wrong question.
Why Your Judgment Is Worth More Now, Not Less
Abundance repriced everything: competent output became free, noise became infinite, and the ability to choose correctly became the bottleneck. Judgment is the scarce factor of the AI era, and scarcity is what markets pay for.
